There were 64 entries from 16 countries.

The rules include the following:
- Entries have to be of a single image taken with a microscope and should not be significantly altered.
- Video entries must be 30 seconds or less.
- There is no restriction with respect to the subject matter.
- Electron and ion micrographs have to be black and white.
- Contestants must submit a completed Entry Form.
Entries should be submitted by email to jowen@zyvexlabs.com using the attached template.
Entries will be added below as they come in. There will be 4 award categories: 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, and MNE’ers choice.
