Most manufacturing techniques treat matter as if it is infinitely divisible. Atomic precision manufacturing is different. At Zyvex, APM allows us to take advantage of the quantized nature of matter and in the words of Professor Richard Feynman, “arrange atoms the way that we want”.
QUANTUM TECHNOLOGY: While we expect APM to be useful for a wide range of applications it will be particularly important in Quantum Technology where quantized energy levels and quantum tunneling transport are extremely sensitive to dimensions of a single atomic layer and even a single atom. Our technology is an order of magnitude more precise than the best e-beam lithography.
