ZyVector is an STM control system which converts a scanning tunneling microscope into an STM lithography system. It comprises a 20-bit digital control box to handle real-time control tasks such as the STM feedback loop and the creep and hysteresis correction and, if required, an analog control box which contains the high-voltage amplifiers to drive the STM piezo scanner. The system is controlled through our software package, Scanz. ZyVector is designed to connect to ScientaOmicron UHV STMs using the standard Omicron STM cabling. It can also be adapted to run other STM systems.
ZyVector is distributed by our partners, ScientaOmicron, who can sell standalone ZyVector controllers or complete UHV STM systems, with all the parts required for performing STM Lithography.
